FATSO - Hip Hop Artist/Producer

Fatso presents The Skinny, is a new EP independently produced and overseen by the lyricist himself. A raw talent with roots up and down the 95 corridor of the east coast in marketing and promotions, he is an intriguing vocal producer, arranger and hip hop artist. Combining influences from his homes, West Palm Beach, FL, Queens, NY, New Jersey, and VA, Fatso creates a style that encompasses the ideology behind the pessimistic adolescent ignorance associated with teasing outkasts. He is touring underground and his national tour is filling bookings now. Eclectic hip hop with underground and commercial appeal, Fatso is developing a genre of music stylistically excellent in his own rite.

Tamika Jones - Singer/Songwriter

Tamika Jones is a talent whose influences run the gamut from Ella to Amel, Duke to D'Angelo, Phyllis to Jill, and back to Lauryn with Erykah and Brandy, plus Nina. Her style is as eclectic as repertoire and is an avid live jazz and R&B performer. She has had the pleasure of working with Chucky Thompson, 87 Keys, Marsha Ambrosius, Jaguar Wright, and Maya Azucena, and continued to perform at local favorites live Cafe Nema, Indulj (formerly Duke's City), Cardinal's Nest, HR 57, Bohemian Caverns, Twins, Blue Note, Busboys & Poets, and Peaches Cafe. While performing live regularly, Ms. Jones is busy preparing an EP, soon to be released with her new .com and she will be starring in her first videos in late January.

on the underground music and spoken word scene for her
powerful and evoking lyrics, she has acquired an
expansive following in the DC Metro area. Her new band Tasting Darkness is travel ready and working on a new EP to be released early next year.

Aysha Upchurch - Choreographer for Change

Aysha Upchurch is a Washington, DC-based dancer, choreographer, instructor, with firm roots in St.Louis. She has trained in many dance forms, but most extensively in Hip Hop and tap dance, having studied with legends in both genres, from Buster Brown and Diane Walker to Rennie Harris and Mr. Wiggles. Aysha has choreographed, taught and performed throughout the country in Philadelphia , New York , Texas and North Dakota , as well as internationally in the Caribbean, Central America and Eastern Europe . In the Washington , DC area, Aysha is in demand as a dancer, instructor and choreographer. She has been on faculty at Joy of Motion Dance Center since 2000, has worked with CityDance Ensemble since 2003 and recently joined the faculty at Dance Place . Her work has been seen at the Kennedy Center , Dance Place , the Carter Barron Amphitheatre, DARS Constitution Hall, Atlas Performing Arts Center , the Verizon Center and on promotional commercials for the Washington Nationals. She has choreographed for Georgetown University Dance Company, DCypher Dance Company, Namyanka Dance Ministry and Joy of Motion's Youth Dance Ensemble Senior Company. In 2007, Aysha received the Kennedy Center 's Millennium Stage Local Dance Commissioning Project, and was nominated for a Metro DC Dance Award for Emerging Choreographer. In 2008, she and her company were nominated for five Metro DC Dance Awards.
