DeLonte' R Briggs, a DC Native and graduate of School Without Walls
SHS, has always had an eye for talent and has even performed with the
best of them. Growing up in the Nation's Capital, there were so many
talented musicians, and artists that made great livings doing what they
loved. Music moves his soul and artistry is his passion, Mr. Briggs
was determined to make a way for quality, genuine artist to fight the
stereotypical "starving artist" mentality, associated with the arts.
Armed with a B.S. in Business Marketing from the Virginia State
University, Mr. Briggs joined the world renown and traveled StepAFRIKA!
Intl., a DC based cutting edge dance company that has served as arts
and cultural ambassador for the United States, where he toured
internationally as a principal dancer and wearing many other hats
including Tour Manager, Stage Manager, Lead Workshop Facilitator, and
Primary Promotions Principle for 2007-2008 Tour Season. Joining this
company immediately upon matriculation, afforded him the opportunity to
see the world and perform with remarkable talents globally.
After a
long tenure in both the entertainment and business realm, Mr. Briggs
consolidated all of his resources, information, and service skills to
build a company that caters to the needs of artistic professionals and
allows artist to focus on their craft, with little interruption from
media, public, or pressure. Thus, Mr. Briggs Management was born and
continues to provide superior services to extraordinary artists and
talent.
